As Children of the Most High God, it is our responsibility to pray to Jehovah Yahweh through His Son Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy because we have a relationship with God the Father; by which we have the grace to call Him “Abba Father”. Romans 8:15, “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father”. Also, in 1 John 5:14, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us”.
Philippians 4:6, reminds us that we must pray believing that God hears us, and therefore we receive our petition through faith. Prayer is vital for the Believer in Christ, to reign victoriously in the earth and triumph over the enemy. When we prayer in faith using the word of God, we cause dynamic changes both physically and spiritually, on earth and in Heaven. Our prayers propel God to intervene in our lives and help us. Psalm 91:15, “He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him”. Also, in Ephesians 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”.
